M. Norka Zagazeta Garcia
M. Norka Zagazeta Garcia received her Bachelor in Science from the University of Toronto in June 2001 and obtained her J.D. from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Michigan, USA in May 2004. Norka was called to the Florida Bar in April 2005 and practiced in Miami, Florida for a few years exclusively in the area of Immigration Law. Norka completed accreditation proceedings through the National Committee of Accreditation in Ottawa (NCA). Norka worked and articled in a leading Toronto Immigration law firm that provided Canadian and US immigration services to individuals and corporations. She co-founded Zagazeta Garcia LLP.
She is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, Canadian Bar Association, Ontario Bar Association and Peel Law Association. Norka is also a member of AILA (American Immigration Lawyers Association), Florida Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.
